Kawah Putih literally means white lake and is a volcanic crater lake located on the Indonesian island Java. 47 km south of Bandung. It's the crater of the volcano Patuha at an elevation of 2434 meters. 

The lake has a very high sulphur content creating the beautiful yellowish green colours. Temperature and humidity in Indonesia are high as a standard, but in this sulphuric environment, staying here for a couple of hours was hard to endure, especially for my lungs.
